Where the south and north meet and meld has become known as the Mitterlands, sharing many similarities to their southern counterpart in geography, its culture is a mixture of both its neighbors with a dash of something completely their own.

A portion of the Mitterlands does diverge from the more inhabited areas in its geography, being characterized by vast wetlands.

The Mitterlands may lie between two giants, but what they lack they make up for in trade and diplomacy. Being stuck between the North and South; they have a monopoly on goods moving between the two.
